I'm a day late for Garden Blogger's Bloom Day, but I'd like to have this for planning next year's garden, so here's what's blooming on my patio.
We've got moon flowers & moon vine, late planted tomatoes, black eyed susans, and my hanging basket with lantana & petunias.
This is my first post from the blogger app, so I hope the formatting comes out ok!
I love that moon vine. Does it smell as great as it looks?
ReplyDeleteIt has an OK smell, but the blooms don't last very long. My favorite vine is Confederate (white star) Jasmine. It smells amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love those moon flowers! More importantly, though, I am envious of your tomatoes. Mine are flourishing like crazy, but I highly doubt any of the tomatoes will ripen in time. I think next year I'll have to give up on starting them from seed. Western Washington just has too short of a growing season.
ReplyDeleteSarah, I started these tomatoes late from seed, and they're in pots so I can bring them in if I need to. I have a sliding glass door out to my patio, so that may be a nice place for them when it starts to frost. It's an unexpected perk of not having any actual land this year!
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it...I've been late for Bloom Day before too...but always post for the same reason...I like to see a quick record of what was going on :-)
