Raspberry Sweet Tea Cocktail

Best surprise ever!   I took a walk around my yard yesterday and I found raspberries!

This was such a good surprise, and it didn't take me long to decide what I wanted to do with them...a sweet tea vodka cocktail as my first entry into The Greenish Thumb's Garden to Table Challenge.  (Check out Wendy's site for weekly lists of recipes with in-season food...so good)

Here's the recipe:

  • 2 oz Sweet Tea Vodka (Firefly, Jeramiah Weed, etc)
  • 4 oz water
  • Splash of Sprite
  • 1/2 handful of fresh raspberries

If you have a shaker, you can combine all ingredients, add ice, and shake to release the juice.  If you don't have a shaker or muddler, just add the berries into your glass, squish with a fork, add the rest of your ingredients, and stir.

Cheers Everybody!

  1. That sounds really awesome! So you just found raspberries? How lucky! I did see some flowers on my raspberries the other day, I"ll try this for sure. I know that sweet tea vodka's been around for a while now and is all the rage, but I have yet to try it. It has a nice tea taste?

    1. I like the sweet tea vodka, especially in the summer. It can be kind of sweet, so I like to mix it with water, and not just sprite. I know a lot of people who mix it with lemonade too, so there are lots of things you can try. I can't wait for the peaches to start coming in!

    1. Aww, I hate you can't drink this cocktail, but you could always make it with just regular sweet tea :)

  3. I love Firefly! I usually mix mine with raspberry lemonade so this is a perfect way to switch it up!
